Water-based screen printing has proven to be not only environmentally friendly, but offers exceptional quality and durability. We use the industry’s best water-based screen printing inks, which are solvent free and do not contain PVC, phthalates or toxic chemicals. Inks come in a variety of stock colors and can be mixed to match any requested custom color. We have spent countless hours studying all aspects of water-based printing and curing techniques. Water-based inks work best on 100% cotton fabric and a select few hi-percentage cotton blends.
In addition to our ink systems, our screen-printing processes and practices allow us to make for a low-waste work environment. Our 100% manual printing presses are human powered, saving energy and increasing print quality. This reduces our global footprint and increases our ability to ensure quality printing and quality jobs. Our ecologically conscious processes do not end at the press. We use low-impact chemicals during screen reclamation and shop cleaning.
Heat Press is a great way to print multiple colors on a low number of garments such as shirts and hoodies. Heat Pressed hats are among our most popular products. Great for your team, staff or handing out at events.
We have to know what color shirt you are going to print on. The reason for determining the color is because transfer papers are specifically made for light or dark colored garments. Afterwards, we take the paper to our printer and output your design on. Then, we take the paper to our heat press machine and apply it to the garment. The time, pressure, and heat factors for this application vary. The best part about this process is that it is quick. If you need a full color shirt asap this is the best option for you.
Plastisols are the most commonly used inks for printing designs on to garments, and are particularly useful for printing opaque graphics on dark fabrics.
Plastisol inks are recommended for printing on colored fabric. On lighter fabric, plastisol is extremely opaque and can retain a bright image for many years with proper care.
